September 18th: Cross Country Practice and Calculus Midterm

Today could've been better.

In XC Practice, we ran in interval speeds. It went alright. It has difficult in the moment but in retrospect it wasn't too bad.

After practice, I went home and rested a little before biking to class. I was almost late! At first, I felt very unconfident about the exam. Then, I started realizing some things and making some connections. I left the integrals to the end, which I was very stumped on at first. I wasted a lot of time before telling my professor "I forgot how to do an integral" and he said "oh no. that's not good" which I thought was a little funny. Then, he asked "What'd you learn in [Calc] AB?" After some more conversion and encouragement ("Try number 2 again...") I understood the integrals and sped through them.

Except, maybe after 5 minutes after leaving class, I realized that I forgot to add +C to my integrals. Was all of my hopeful momentary joy for nothing? Probably. I kept thinking about it on my bike home. Maybe I'll beg my professor or something. I'm hoping I did well though.

Thanks for reading,
Issac
