September 19th: Club Rush, Cross Country Practice, and Shout-Outs

Today was alright,

During lunch break, was club rush. The basketball court was very packed, full of clubs shouting at you to join them. This year, there's a lot more clubs sprouting up. Time will tell if they will last through the school year.

I stood in for Badminton Club and the Robotics team. For badminton, there were so many sign ups, we had to make new sign up papers on the spot! Really good. Practices might end up being really packed!

For the robotics team, we did a small demo of our robot. We also brought the stage out for climbing, and we lightly shot some notes. Unfortunately, we didn't get too many sign ups. We'll need to be pushing hard for recruitment in these later months. I'm rather disappointed but I half expected this.

During XC Practice, we ran 5 miles. It should've been light. There was a light breeze as we ran to the shoreline. I was satisfied with my pace and my form. However, my stomach started hurting at the end of my first mile because I ate close to practice. So, I had to slow down a lot. There was also I weird guy on a bike following some of the runners during our run. I don't recall seeing him but campus had to be cleared as safe before we were allowed to leave. Really interesting, I personally wouldn't expect to see someone doing that! Very disgusting behavior. Unfortunately, we weren't able to catch the perpetrator.

During 3rd period some of my friends were laughing at my blog šŸ˜ . Anyways, some people have been requesting some shout outs, so I'll do them all at once now:

Really cool people!

Thanks for reading,
Issac
