January 21st: Robotics Meeting, Squid Game, and Homework

Today was similar to yesterday except I had school today. I woke up late though and I decided to not care about getting to school on time. It's not that worth it to rush as long as I end up there, even if its a bit late.

After school there was a robotics meeting filled with meetings. They were pretty useful but we got roasted for our design in a design meeting with our mentors. It was useful though. We really need to prototype, but before we prototype, we need parts to work with! I hope tomorrow we get all of our prototype purchasing done. We are officially one week behind. We initially thought that we didn't have time or parts to prototype seriously but now we really need to.

After school I finished the first season of Squid Game. I actually wanted to nap so I could get some rest before working on homework throughout the night but I think I spent my time alright. Otherwise, Squid Game would've been on the top of my mind!

The show has some crazy good acting and I had lots of empathy for many of the characters no matter their significance. It was the interactions that the main cast had with them that moved me when I saw their fate being realized. It's a really dark show but everything is done really well in the show, from the filming, action, plot, acting, etc. Something I noticed in the film is that the writing uses "flipping the opposition" really well. For example, when other characters take the dominance in a situation, they use the same wording as the other character which is a really cool power move.

I am grinding away at homework again. Last night I fell asleep but this night I hope to do it all and some more. I hope to switch out of a class I'm in this semester. I know it'll look bad to get a course change but I'm not sure if I can handle such a difficult subject.
