March 16th: Silicon Valley Regional (Day 3)

Today could've been a lot better.

We finally got our intake functional! It can take up balls and the intake arm can move up and down (kind of.) There are some mechanical strength issues that need to be tackled to perfect it, and some programming could be sured up.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to use it during competition as a result of the issues. We mainly played a crappy defense, and we weren't picked for alliance selection. The judges never came back around to our pit either.

For the rest of the day, I hanged out in the pit with a small monitor, watching the stream while we slowly cleaned up the pits. Fortunately, I got to watch the finals matches in person, which were riveting!

We'll do better in EBR 🙏 trust.
