March 18th: Common Side Effects (TV Show)

Today was fine.

I've become hooked on an Adult Swim TV Show named Common Side Effects. It's a show about the journey of the mission of this guy, Marshall, to reproduce a blue mushroom that has the power to resurrect and heal any disease, in context of a greedy, overbearing pharmaceutical company. He works with his old lab partner, Frances, who is the assistant to a CEO of one of the largest pharmaceutical companies of the world.

I think the show is very, very good. I'm very hooked and I'm waiting for the next episode. I find the show to be very exciting and beautifully animated with an interesting storyline. The episodes always end in a cliffhanger and the flashbacks are never too long. I think the show does an awesome job at demonstrating the world's moral dilemmas in a satirical and very real manner. The show develops the story through different perspectives, which I enjoy seeing and getting to know the different characters. I think the show is a definite recommend, and the first episode is available for free on YouTube.
