Today was a long, tiring day.
The meeting today started at 10AM and ended at 7PM, starting earlier than regular. Of course, as expected this season, not many people were present at 10AM, but people began trickling in later.
The intake system on our robot was the highest priority since it is the least developed system on our robot. However, I started off with doing some permanent wiring for our beam break sensor. At first, with yesterday's wire issues, I began wiring with smaller wires since I thought that "minimum wire size" meant that you needed that wire size or smaller wires, since the AWG system means that bigger numbers are smaller. However, "minimum wire size" literally means that that is the minimum size for the wire; you can go larger! After this discovery near the end of the meeting, I began wiring with the cleaner, more secure wires.
The others were also installing on the electrical board, which I helped with.
Slowly, more and more parts of the robot are getting made out of metal, which is gratifying to see. Though our progress is slow now I hope we can finish our robot in time before competition!
